In 2022, there were 1.9 million newly diagnosed cancer cases in the U.S and 609,360 deaths. And, in Arizona, approximately 40,000 new cancer diagnoses struck our communities, affecting our mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, children, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and employees. The ripple effects extend beyond the patients themselves, reaching caregivers and entire families, causing psychological, physical, and financial strains. AzMN’s Cancer Caregivers Education Program (CCEP®) provides a Solution. Our online Program, was developed collaboratively by caregivers, patients, and cancer care professionals. This program equips caregivers, the ‘Unsung Heroes’, with essential skills, knowledge, and resources. And prepares them to be ‘First Responders’ and advocates for their loved ones. Your contributions to GIVING TUESDAY, will support our provision of education, training, and resources that empower caregivers and patients at home, where the battle against cancer is fought daily. Your generosity helps build critical caregiving skills, raises awareness, and advocates for improved treatments, and enhances the quality of life for both caregivers and patients.
