Our Mission is to educate and provide resources that support building critical cancer caregiving skills for ALL Cancer Patients, Cancer Caregivers, their Families, and the Cancer Care Professionals that will improve quality of life, treatment, and healthcare outcomes for the families who have loved ones diagnosed with cancer.
Virtual Cancer Caregivers Education Program™ (VCCEP™) is an online education and resource program that features comprehensive curricula focused on building skills, increasing your knowledge, and providing resources at your fingertips that supports the well-being, quality of life, and healthcare outcomes of the patient.
The education modules are interactive and engaging with lesson plans that focus on relevant topics, concerns, and the needs of the Cancer Caregiver and Cancer Patient.
The program also features education modules for the Cancer Care Professionals, that we believe will be of value to our care providers. Building a greater knowledge and understanding for what happens with the patient AT HOME, after leaving the direct care of the Cancer Care Professionals will have a positive impact on treatment planning, quality of life, and improved healthcare outcomes for the patients.
The program includes a Cancer Care Resource Library. The resource library is designed to provide you with resources such as clinical trials, treatment therapies, nutrition/dietary needs, equipment, legal, financial assistance, counseling, and many other topics that are relevant for your needs in supporting the wellbeing of the patient, your loved one.
After you have completed the Virtual Cancer Caregivers Education Program course work, you will continue to have access to the Cancer Care Resource Library.
We also provide for the Virtual Cancer Caregivers Education Program for companies and businesses to be held on-site for the cancer caregivers, patients, and supportive colleagues, led by a certified VCCEP Facilitator.
The caregivers, patients and professionals who are trained on-site will also have access to the online program until the course work is completed. The on-site trainees will have the benefit of on-going access to the Cancer Care Resource Library after the course work is completed.
